The idiot has yet to return my things.
Like many promises he made, he said he would contact me upon his return on 1 April, so we could discuss the logistics of my item retrieval. I waited until 6 April but no news. Wonderful.
I sent an email with a final deadline, failing which I advised him I would file charges for criminal breach of trust. I cannot file for theft because my things are at this apartment. Theft requires active removal on his part. However, if he persists in not allowing me to collect my things, that would satisfy breach of trust nicely as they were never intended as a gift. A mix of toys and personal items, to the tune of SGD $200. Not a large amount, no. But by golly, I want my bloody things back!!
